USB Type-B (SuperSpeed)
Type-B with an extra storey stacked on top, almost always blue.
Also called: USB 3.0 B, blue printer plug, SuperSpeed Type-B.
How to recognise it
- Looks like a Type-B that has grown a second chamber above it.
- Nearly always moulded in blue plastic.
- A plain Type-B plug will fit this socket; this plug will not fit a plain Type-B.

What it fits
A USB Type-B (SuperSpeed) plug mates only with its own socket. Anything else needs an adapter.
